Welcome to La Gatta Apartment, an elegant renovated apartment designed to offer a refined, relaxing, and carefree stay in the heart of Trieste. Its location is one of its strengths: just a few steps from the train station and only a 10-minute walk from Piazza Unità d'Italia, perfect for exploring the city without the need for a car.

Bright, with attention to detail and furnished with contemporary taste, the apartment is ideal for couples, business travelers, or a romantic city break.

You will find:

Spacious living area with TV, cozy and relaxing atmosphere

Comfortable double bedroom with quality bed for a perfect night's sleep

Modern bathroom with large shower

Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, gas hob, coffee machine, kettle, and everything you need for cooking

Delightful small terrace overlooking the internal courtyard, perfect for a quiet breakfast or an evening aperitif

The spaces are organized to ensure comfort, functionality, and privacy.

The location is ideal for both tourism and work:

Railway station a few steps away

Historic center and Piazza Unità within walking distance

Restaurants, historic cafes, supermarkets, and services in the immediate vicinity

You can experience Trieste on foot, breathing in the authentic atmosphere of the city.

The accommodation, reserved exclusively for guests, is located on the 4th floor of a building equipped with an elevator. *The elevator can only be used with the appropriate remote control.*

However, you will need to climb two flights of stairs to reach the apartment.

🕒 Check-in time: from 3:00 PM
Early check-in is possible upon request and subject to availability and must be agreed in advance.

We will give you instructions on how to access the apartment the day before your arrival.

👉 Please provide us with a valid phone number and notify us of any changes to your arrival time.

📄 Documents & tourist tax
At check-in, each guest must present a valid ID (ID card, passport, or driver's license).

The tourist tax is €3.00 per person per night, for a maximum of 5 nights.
The following are exempt from payment: minors, residents, and AIRE registrants.

🌿 DURING YOUR STAY

Our goal is to offer you a comfortable and carefree stay.
If something does not work or is not to your liking during your stay, please contact us immediately: our staff will be happy to help you.

🏠 Please remember that you are staying in a private property:

Please respect the quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In winter, keep the temperature at a maximum of 20°C, and in summer at a minimum of 23°C.

Do not leave personal items (suitcases, bicycles, etc.) in the common areas.

🚭 Smoking is prohibited inside the apartment.
A penalty of €100 will be applied in case of violation.

🎉 Parties and access to unregistered guests are not allowed.

Before leaving the apartment, we kindly ask you to:

Check that you have not forgotten any personal items (especially chargers 😉)

Turn off lights, appliances, and devices

Dispose of trash

📍 Perfect location for exploring Trieste on foot

The apartment is in a truly strategic location: just a few steps from the train station and very close to the only supermarket open until 10 p.m. every day (Pam), which is very convenient for all your needs.

In less than 10 minutes on foot, you can reach Piazza Unità d'Italia, the heart of the city, and stroll along the picturesque seafront between the Grand Canal of Ponterosso and the Molo Audace, where you can admire spectacular sunsets.

🍽 Our local tips

To savor authentic Trieste cuisine, we recommend the famous Buffet da Rudy in Via Valdirivo, perfect for typical dishes.
For breakfast with a sea view, stop at Illy Caffè on the Rive.
And for an unforgettable aperitif at sunset, Ristorante Bianco (Via Rossini 8) on the Ponterosso Canal offers a splendid floating platform on the water in summer.

Here you can truly forget about your car and experience Trieste like a true local.

Just outside the apartment, you will find the PAM supermarket, open every day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Sundays 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.), ideal for all your needs during your stay.
