📌 Important information for guests

The accommodation is reserved exclusively for guests and is spread over two floors connected by an internal staircase.

The crib/cot is available upon request in advance and is subject to availability.

There is no closed garage, but there are other outdoor parking spaces available.

🏠 House rules

To ensure comfort and safety for everyone, we kindly ask you to:

Close windows and shutters when leaving the house and in case of bad weather (strong wind or storm). Any damage caused by failure to comply with this rule will be charged to guests.

Do not move furniture or remove items from the accommodation without prior authorisation.

Air the rooms daily by opening the windows for a few minutes.

Thank you for your cooperation and for taking care of the house as if it were your own 😊.

🕒 Check-in time: from 3 p.m.
Early check-in is possible on request and subject to availability and must be agreed in advance.

Instructions for accessing the apartment will be available in the booking details from the day before arrival.

👉 Please provide us with a valid telephone number and notify us of any changes to your arrival time.

📄 Documents & tourist tax
At check-in, each guest will be required to present a valid form of identification (ID card, passport or driving licence).

The tourist tax is €0.90 per person per night, for a maximum of 7 nights.
The following are exempt from payment: children up to 12 years of age, residents and those registered with AIRE.

🌿 DURING YOUR STAY

If something does not work or is not to your liking during your stay, please contact us immediately: our staff will be happy to help you.

🏠 Please remember that you are staying in a private property:

Please respect the quiet hours from 22:00 to 07:00 and 13:00 to 16:00.

In winter, please keep the temperature at a maximum of 20°C.

Please do not leave personal items (suitcases, bicycles, etc.) in the common areas.

🚭 Smoking is prohibited inside the flat.
A penalty of £100 will be applied in case of violation.

🎉 Parties and access to unregistered guests are not permitted.

Casa al Ponte is located in a quiet residential area of small villas on the Karst Plateau, surrounded by greenery and ideal for those seeking relaxation and tranquillity. The centre of Aurisina, with its supermarket, bank, post office and all essential services, is just a few minutes away on foot or by bus.

Buses run regularly on the main road:

43 to Sistiana and Duino

44 and 46 to Trieste

The area is famous for its typical farmhouses and characteristic “osmizze”, where you can taste local products in an authentic and convivial atmosphere. There are also renowned wineries in the surrounding area, such as Zidarich, Kante and Colja: let yourself be guided on a discovery of Karst wines, such as Vitovska, Ribolla and Terrano. Don't miss the famous Bunker Brewery.

Behind Aurisina, there are numerous trails and excursions in the Karst, with natural caves (some of which can be visited). By car, you can easily reach the Sentiero della Salvia (Sage Trail), the Tiziana Weiss lookout point, the beaches of Canovella, Le Ginestre, Portopiccolo and Sistiana, as well as the splendid city of Trieste.

You can park up to two cars free of charge in the open area in front of the gate. We kindly ask you to park in such a way as not to obstruct access to other properties.

Buses run regularly on the main road:

Line 43 to Sistiana and Duino

Lines 44 and 46 to Trieste

Timetables and routes can be found on the Trieste Trasporti website, which is ideal for planning your journey even without a car.

🚴‍♂️ Perfect for cycling enthusiasts: the area is ideal for cycling, with numerous scenic routes between the Karst and the sea. Beaches and attractions in the surrounding area are within easy reach and offer splendid views of the Gulf of Trieste.
